Getting Rhino Lodge Bardia
On the day of your arrival, one of our representatives will meet you at Kathmandu Airport. If you wish to be picked up at your hotel in Thamel, arrangements can be made (contact your sales agent to arrange a transfer, this service is not included in our rates). Our English-speaking airport representative will give you all of the documents you’ll need, including boarding passes. He or she will also help you check your luggage through. The maximum weight allowed is 25 kg per passenger. Our representative will tell you a little about your trip and answer any questions you may have.
After a flight lasting approximately 55 minutes, you will arrive at Nepaljung (KEP) airport, where another Rhino Lodge Bardia representative will be waiting for you with a smile.
On your arrival, you’ll have a few minutes to use the restroom, get a bottle of water, etc., while our representatives get your luggage onto the van which will take you to Rhino Lodge Bardia. The van travels for about two hours to reach the Lodge, through the Babai valley. It’s a very scenic journey and you’ll want to bring your camera!
At the Lodge, you’ll be greeted by the manager who will have a welcome surprise. Your bags will be brought to your room, and your adventure will begin!
